Iowa Trip

We recently went to Iowa for my grandma's funeral/a celebration of her life. Here is a picture of most of her posterity. Some great people and it was nice to all be together again.

We also flew kites...

Azael just completed several performances of Beauty and the Beast. He played a "village citizen" and especially enjoyed the fight scenes he got to participate in. :)

Some good friends recently invited us to ride motorcycles with them, which we had never done. Our boys had a blast. Azael even progressed to a clutch motorcycle and shifted to third gear. Maniac!

I even drove one. I had to spend 5 minutes getting the feel of the clutch so I could shift smoothly, then I drove around the field a few times. I can't imagine how people jump things on just 2 wheels. I'm a 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler girl at heart, I guess. :)
