Fire & Fun

One of my favorite things about our house is the wood burning fireplace. I could sit in front of it night after night. Here is a photo of Jane and Mystery Man enjoying the fire.

Sock Ball Fight

Mystery Man and the boys recently enjoyed a Sock Ball Fight at Cub Scouts. Each Scout brought a package of new white socks, which were used for a sock ball fight and then later donated to a homeless shelter.

ZhuZhu Pets

We have a few ZhuZhu Pets in the house, and Jane LOVES them! Silas and Jane had a fun time playing with them the other day... Jane chases and grabs them, then gives them back to her "helper" (Silas" to make them go again. It was cute!

It's Alive!!!!!

After Halloween the boys all rolled their pumpkins down the hill, watching them smash at the bottom of the hill. Azael took some of the pieces and taped & nailed them together to create a Pumpkin-Stein.

Azael shouts, "It's ALIVE!!!"

Happy Birthday Jane!

Jane turned 1 year old a few weeks ago. She had a big chocolate cake. Everyone was hoping she would make a big mess, but she ate fastidiously, almost better than some of her older siblings.

Jane has some unique traits: she is a total Momma's Girl. Her world revolves around me (much to my dismay at times, like when I need to cook). Jane is timid around strangers; Jane is even a bit timid around people she knows fairly well. The only people she is truly comfortable around are her siblings and MM and me. But that is also a strength - she truly adores her family. Jane loves to dance. She gives great snuggly hugs. She can say MaMa and DaDa. Jane makes our home a happier place and everyone LOVES to play with her, hold her, help her, watch her, etc. We love you Jane!

Grandma & Grandpa were able to be there for Jane's party!
